Our Home

Our home is a 2000 Forest River Wildwood toy hauler.

It has a master bedroom at the top of the RV by the King Pin.

The garage has been converted into the girl’s room. We also have placed an apartment sized refrigerator, shelves and dresser for the kids in the garage area. Vern raised the bunk beds so we can fit 10 large storage bins. We also have room for 9 more bins, the guitar, golf clubs, fishing stuff and toys back there.

The living rook/kitchen/dining room/family TV room/ and entry has a dinette that we have decided to leave down permanently into a large bed. We have added large pillows and have made it into a lounging couch kind of thing. This is Conner’s bed. Kelby’s bed is the couch. It folds out into a full size bed.

Kati has about ½ foot of counter space for cooking. There are four cupboards for dishes and food storage.  We also have storage above the cupboards for bulk food items.

The bathroom has a small toilet and shower. There is a small sink between Kati and Vern’s room and the bathroom.

The carpet and couches were a terribly ugly turquoise green. Vern pulled out the carpet and laid tile.

We do have some storage underneath and outside of the trailer. We also have skirt that goes around the front of the trailer that we can place bikes and toys in when we are parked.

Our backyard is the coolest part of the trailer. It has views to the most serene National Forests. We have acres of fields and fishing ponds. We have all the malls you could ask for. The best museums and science centers and enough "best kept secrets" areas that could keep you busy for several lifetimes. We have access to all of our family and friends both present and future.

Our backyard is America.
